Greek Authorities Retain A Syrian Ship “Noka” Carrying Drugs Worth 100 Million Euros That Was Heading To Benghazi

Greek authorities, on Saturday, announced that they intercepted a Syrian ship called “Noka” carrying a shipment of drugs that is worth 100 million euros from the port of Latakia to the port of Benghazi.

according to Al-Masdar News Agency, the ship was carrying six tons of cannabis and 3 million dope before it was intercepted by the Greek authorities off the coast of Crete on December 5 and detained the entire crew of 11 people.

The agency pointed out that the Greek authorities found drugs under the floors in the ship in eight containers, hidden between layers of coffee, spices, and sawdust.

The ship’s crew consists of eleven people, including 10 Syrians and an Indian.
