Minister of Economy and Industry Ali Al-Essawi stressed the important role of the Industrial Research Center in conducting applied research and studies for the future investment of alternative oil resources and spatial development studies.
During his visit to the center, on Tuesday, Al-Essawi promised that he would exert his efforts to overcome the administrative and financial difficulties that hinder the center’s work, adding that the center contributes to supporting the ministry’s decision.
During the visit, Al-Essawi presented a documentary film showing the emergence of the Center and its important role in carrying out applied studies and researches in the field of industry and geological mapping of most regions of Libya and its technical and economic feasibility studies for many industrial projects.
The Industrial Research Center is one of Libya’s national economic development agencies with all aspects of industrial research to strengthen the technical research capacity aimed at expanding the use of local materials, resources and materials in industry, as well as for the implementation of development plans.
