Western House of Representatives will nominate two candidates to choose one of them to lead the government, says Faraj Abdul Malik

A member of the House of Representatives (HOR) Faraj Abdul-Malik, stated on Saturday, that there are two persons that are not part of the HOR and the State whom will be nominated by the members of the House of Representatives in the Western region, one of them to take over the post of prime minister.

In a statement to the ArraedLG, Faraj Abdul-Malik, said that during his meeting of the members of the House of Representatives about the western region in Sabratha, concluded the division of the western region into 7 circles, each candidate nominated one presidential candidate and another to the government; however, the “ideal” candidates need to be independent to take over the presidency of the government. The new prime minister after the amendment of the presidential council suggested that the candidate would be from Tripoli.

More than 40 members of the House of Representatives from the Western region met last Thursday in Sabratha to discuss the reconstruction of the executive branch with a president, two deputies and the head of an independent government.
