US delegate to Security Council: We will stand against those who destabilize Libya

The delegate of the United States of America to the United Nations said, “Enough is enough!”, the way to negotiations between Libyan parties to reach reconciliation in Libya must be paved, stressing that his country will work against those who destabilize Libya.

While addressing the UN Security Council meeting on the latest developments in Libya on Wednesday, the delegate stressed the need for a road map within the Libyan crisis, calling on the international community to send a firm message confirming that the political agreement is the only framework that allows the political process to be completed in the country. .

The US representatives stressed that the attempt to weaken the legitimate Libyan authorities and obstruct the political process is unacceptable, stressing the need to hold accountable those who disrupt the political process led by the United Nations in Libya.

The head of the UN mission in Libya, Ghassan Salame briefed the Security Council demanding accountability of groups that violate the cease-fire agreement in Tripoli.
