The Presidential Council (PC) authorized contract with the Public Works Company in Misurata to begin the maintenance of 50 kilometers of the coastal road.
In a statement on Tuesday, the PC said it had agreed to implement the transport projects by contracting directly with Misurata Public Works Company for the maintenance of the coastal road between Kaam gate and the entrance to the city of Msallata, adding that it allocated 49 million Libyan dinars for the project.
The coastal road between the city of Masllata and the city of Zliten suffers from many problems that caused many traffic accidents.
