The General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) announced the launch of a campaign to remove the illegal connections in the Tripoli Center Municipality to help raise the efficiency of the public network and reduce the load hours.
GECOL explained on its official page that the campaign targeted shops and services in the area of Ben Ashour (Al-Jaraba Street) and removed more than 25 illegal connections, and cut off the current for more than 20 flashlights.
The company called on the owners of shops to initiate the request to the Tripoli Consumer Services Center to resolve the status of their financial and administrative connections.
Last week, the General Electricity Company of Libya announced the implementation of an intensive campaign to remove all illegal connections, in cooperation with the security services.
