The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) recorded 28 civilian casualties between deaths and injuries in July.
UNSMIL said on its official website on Wednesday that it documented in its monthly report casualties and injuries resulting from what it described as “possible violations of international humanitarian law” in Benghazi, Sabha, Tazirbu, Zliten and Zuwara.
The casualty toll was the lowest since the beginning of this year, the report said, adding that among the victims were a man, a woman and a child were killed, while four men and a boy were wounded.
The mission added that deaths and injuries were caused by shootings and the explosive remnants of war, which killed one person.
