The mayor of Sabha, Hamid Al-Khayali said that Fasanea newspaper photographer, Musa Abdel Karim was found dead with traces of torture on his body, near the center of the city.
Al-Khayali said in a statement to ArraedLG that the reasons behind the killing of the journalist, who also works in the media office of the municipality, “is not clear now,” indicating that an investigation is underway, and that the security authorities in Sabha referred the case to the Attorney General.
Photographer Musa Abdel Karim, 24, works in Fasanea newspaper, which operates in the southern region.
