The Libyan Coast Guard rescued on Wednesday 31 illegal immigrants, including a child, aboard a wooden boat north of the town of Zuwara, west of Tripoli.
The Libyan navy spokesperson, Ayoub Qassem told ArraedLG, the migrants are from Bangladesh and Ghana and were handed over to the Illegal Immigration Agency after providing them with humanitarian assistance.
On Sunday, the Coast Guard rescued 116 illegal immigrants of different nationalities, including 111 men and 5 women, aboard a rubber boat north of Zuwara
