HNEC Director says no problems facing Commission’s work

The Director General of the High National Elections Commission, Said Al-Qusbi said on Thursday the value allocated by the Presidential Council (PC) to the Commission, which is 66 million dinars, is sufficient for now, stressing that there are no problems facing their work so far.

Al-Qusbi said in a statement to ArraedLG that the Commission would seek more allocations if it needed financial resources to accomplish the tasks assigned to it.

The HNEC director also pointed out that the Commission received a new headquarters in Sidi El Masri area in Tripoli and began processing it, expecting to complete its processing after two or three months.

The High National Elections Commission announced last April, registering two million and 34 thousand people, or 53.26% who are eligible to vote in the elections.
