The Coast Guard rescued 167 illegal immigrants, 55 miles north of the Ghanima area near the city of Khoms.

The Libyan navy spokesperson Ayoub Qassem told ArraedLG, the immigrants are of different African nationalities, including 4 children and 24 women, who were aboard 4 rubber boats.

He added that the migrants were taken to the landing point at the Tripoli naval base, confirming that they were handed over to the Anti-illegal Immigration Agency after providing humanitarian and medical assistance to them.
