UNDP completes maintenance of public facilities in Sirte

Sirte municipal council spokesperson, Mohamed Al-Amil announced on Monday the completion of maintenance work at Al Itihad high school, which is supervised by Al Nahia Company of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

Al-Amil said in a statement to ArraedLG, the high school is the fifth of 13 educational buildings its maintenance is supervised by the United Nations, noting that the cost of amounted to 130 thousand dollars.

The spokesperson also said the UNDP finished the maintenance of the Sirte health center and will handed over to the municipality after Eid.

The UN program in Sirte is working on the maintenance of the Al-Daher health facility, and Tqarft Martyrs and Daher schools among a number of other educational facilities.
