French court rules in favor of Development of Administrative Centers Device

Director of the Legal Office of the Development of Administrative Centers Device, Mahmoud Al-Tawil said on Monday the arbitration tribunal of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris rejected the lawsuit filed by Portuguese company (WAY2B) against the Device.

Al-Tawil explained that the verdict was a final judgment and rejected the company’s requests to oblige the Libyan state to pay damages that amount to millions of euros.

The court charged the Portuguese company with the expenses of the case and the fees of the arbitrators on behalf of the Libyan state.

French court ruled last December in favor of the Central Bank of Libya against Kuwaiti company Kharafi.
