The president of the High Council of State (HCS), Khalid Al-Mashri received an invitation from French President, Emmanuel Macron to participate in the international conference about the Libyan situation.
Al-Mashri received the invitation on Tuesday, to participate in the conference during his meeting in Tripoli with the personal adviser of the French president and the French ambassador to Libya.
The conference is scheduled to take place in Paris on May 29.
France has presented an initiative to resolve the Libyan crisis, which included several points, most notably the organization of elections by the end of 2018, according to a timetable established by the United Nations.
