180 illegal immigrants rescued off the coast of Garabulli  

Libyan navy spokesperson, Ayoub Qassem said on Sunday, Libyan Coast Guard has rescued 180 illegal immigrants off the shores of Garabulli.

“The migrants were on board rubber boats, 15 of whom were women and seven children,” Qassem said in a statement to ArraedLG, adding that the migrants are of different Arab and African nationalities.

On Saturday, the coastguard rescued 506 illegal immigrants off the shores of Sabratha and Garabulli, among them were 18 Libyans.
