The United Nations special envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salame confirmed during his meeting with the President of the High Council of State (HCS), Khaled al-Mashri contacting the influential international powers on the situation in Derna.
Salame said on Wednesday, he met with the Russian ambassador and charge d’affaires at the US embassy and other representatives of the influential countries in the Libyan file.
Haftar Forces have been trying to break into the city of Derna, which has been besieged for more than two years.
