The general manager of Tobruk Airport, Hassan Halil resigned on Monday from his duties.
Halil attributed the reason for his resignation, in a statement obtained by ArraedLG, to the overlap of authorities and the inability of the State to support the strategy developed to upgrade the work and provide the required capabilities to develop the airport and its facilities.
Last March, Halil demanded the authorities be responsible for the urgent maintenance of the airfields and lighting at the airport and the completion of the passenger reception hall, which a Turkish company carried out 24% of the project.
