The spokesperson of Sirte municipality, Mohamed Al-Amial said on Tuesday, British ambassador to Libya, Frank Baker has expressed his country’s readiness to contribute to the reconstruction of the city and the support of the security services.
Al-Amial told ArraedLG, the municipal council had made a presentation of the destruction of the city during the ambassador’s visit.
Sirte witnessed a war against the Islamic State (IS), that ended with the liberation of the city by Al-Bunian Al-Marsos forces in December 2016.
