The Mine Clearance and War-Destruction Unit in Sirte spokesperson, Salem Al-Amel said on Tuesday members of the security forces dismantled a number of mines in the areas of Buhadi, Al-Sawawa and Al-Qiba, some of which were found in schools.
Al-Amel told ArraedLG. the Unit lacks capabilities, and is working on its own, noting that they did not receive any support from the Government of National Accord (GNA).
