The Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency denied reports by media suggesting it had assigned Italy to represent Libya in a meeting at European Union.
the agency confirmed, on its official page, the letter signed by the head of the agency is fake, pointing out that the meeting, which was attended by Kalacapora is a meeting about customs and borders, and has nothing to do with the immigration file and its implications.
Libya’s delegate to the World Customs Organization sent a letter to the Government of National Accord (GNA) director of foreign organizations, the director of the Customs Department, and the charge d’affaires of the Libyan Embassy in Brussels, asking about the appointment of an Italian named “Lucialo Kalacapora” as a customs adviser at a meeting in Brussels.
