The Municipal Council of Al-Maya in Werchefana denounced the military aggravation near the municipality’s borders, stressing that it was not aware of it, which destabilizes security and stability in the area, according to the Council.
The Council demanded in a statement on Saturday, the Government of National Accord (GNA) Interior ministry to take over the management of gates within the limits of Jafara Security Directorate, calling on everyone to be responsible, restraint and for direct dialogue; to reach the area and the country to safety.
A military force, which not under GNA control, led by Emad Al-Trabelsi seized the 27 gate last week.
