Sabha Medical Center spokesperson, Osama Al-Wafi said a teenage girl was killed on Saturday and a woman was wounded due to unidentified gunmen opening fire on a bus carrying female employees and students near the Center.
Al-Wafi explained that a 15-year-old girl was hit with a bullet that pierced her shoulder and settled in her chest. The rescuers were unable to save her, in addition, a 40-year-old woman was shot in her leg, but is in a stable condition.
The Center’s spokesperson renewed the call to all conflict parties in the city to spare the center and civilians from the clashes that are taking place in the southern entrance of Sabha, denouncing the targeting of patients and pedestrians next to the only medical center in the city and the south.
Sabha southern entrance is witnessing armed clashes between parties that are yet to be identified by the local authorities in the city.
