Boaraba: We are trying to prevent families from entering Tawergha

Abdulnabi Boaraba, a member of the reconciliation committee between Tawergha and Misurata said on Friday, Tawergha residents staying in Qarara Al-Qetif area around Bani Walid are suffering from “a great shortage” in tents.

Boaraba told ArraedLG, the number of families arriving to Qarara Al-Qetif  is increasing after the a number of them arrived on Thursday and Friday, explaining their need for tents because of changing weather conditions and rainfall.

Boaraba said, since Thursday evening they have been trying to prevent many families from entering Tawergha and return to their homes, noting that children, women and elderly are staying in the open, adding that the number of families exceeded a thousand families.

The member of the reconciliation committee between Tawergha and Misurata said, the number of families in the camp will decrease with the start of the school examinations, which will start next Sunday.

The Presidential Council (PC) promised the people of Tawergha to return to their city earlier this month, but an armed group prevented the implementation of the return agreement.
