The Libyan relief and humanitarian aid agency said on Tuesday, it had provided 60 tents for Tawergha displaced residents in the Qarara Al-Qatf area.
The agency said on its official Facebook page, as the continued influx of families from Tawergha to the area, the agency distributed blankets, cooking equipment and personal hygiene materials in cooperation with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and Al-Ataa Ben Walid charity organization.
According to the agency, the families humanitarian situation is very bad, especially children and the elderly, stressing the continuation of the provision of humanitarian assistance in coordination with the committee appointed by Tawergha local council.
On Friday, a number of Tawergha residents gathered in Qarara Al-Qatf area, east of Ben Walid, after an armed group prevented them from returning to their city.
