The Minister of the Displaced Affairs, Yousuf Jalala said on Friday, an armed group demanded money in exchange of its acceptance of the return Tawergha residents to their city.
Jalala told ArraedLG, the armed group that is hindering the return of the people of Tawergha disrupted their gathering positions, demanding money for their return.
The minister also denied allegations that the Security and Protection Force of Sirte had any relationship with preventing the people of Tawergha from returning to their city, adding that the Commander of the Central Region and the Misurata municipal council welcomed the return of Tawergha residents.
