The second deputy to the chairman of the Supreme Council of the State, Mohammad Amazab, praised the efforts of the Audit Bureau to uncover a lot of financial and economic violations.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Amazab said that the Audit Bureau and its head Khaled Shakshak revealed a lot of corruption in Libya and exposed those who are corrupt; adding that they are contributing to the preservation of Libyan state funds.
Amazab stressed the Supreme Council’s support for the work of the Bureau to preserve the wealth of Libya from the corrupt who aim to launder funds.
The Audit Bureau announced on Monday that it is being subjected to distorted and fabricated allegations in order to question the integrity of its employees.
