On Monday, the chairman of the High National Elections Commission, Emad Al-Sayah, discussed with the Speaker of the HOR Aguila Saleh regarding the preparations for the elections that are expected to be implemented in the coming period.
Al-Sayah clarified in a press statement, that he had illustrated to the HOR President and its members of the extent of his preparedness and readiness to carry out the tasks of the Commission, adding that ensuring the implementation of the Commission’s mission is linked to the requirements of the electoral process.
The head of the Commission noted that the operation of the electoral process needs a period of time before the receipt of the electoral law, stressing the need to support the Commission in starting its work immediately after receipt of the electoral law.
