The head of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustafa Sanalla, expressed his dissatisfaction with the “security breach” that was exposed to station 186 by an armed group.
In a statement to the official website of the NOC, Sanalla stressed that the safety and health of workers in the sector is a priority, pointing out that everyone must adhere to the “maximum precautions” and put these procedures in line with priorities.
Omar Qadi, commander of Battalion 91, responsible to protect the field, expressed that the reason for weak security is the limited capabilities of the battalion and the lack of machinery and security elements required to secure oil sites in the region, according to the official website of the organization.
