Egypt: We paid a quarter of a billion dollars worth of a loan to Libya

CAIRO (Reuters) -On Thursday, the central bank’s monetary reserve officer Rami Abul-Naga said :Egypt has paid a 250 million dollar loan to Libya worth a total of $ 2 billion.

Abul-Naga, quoted by Reuters, said that his country will pay in the next year the last two installments worth half a billion dollars.

It is noteworthy that Libya deposited in the Central Bank of Egypt $ 2 billion in2012.  cut off from Libyan investments in Egypt, can be withdrawn within five years.
