The head of the Supreme Council of the State, Abdulrahman Al-Swehli, said that the Derna massacre requires the removal of political calculations. He also called on the Security Council to convene an emergency session in order to take a firm stand against these “repeated massacres”; the most recent of which occurred in Derna and Abyar, and to protect civilians in accordance with the resolution of 1973.
