On Friday, the Italian Foreign Minister Angelino Alfano said that supporting economic and legal projects in Libya is the is the most important challenge being faced in the refugee camps.
In an interview with the European Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Christos Stylianides, Alfano said the EU should help Libya meet these challenges.
During a meeting on the sidelines of a conference on international humanitarian law, the European Commissioner praised Italy’s “positive” role in immigration issues and the situation in Libya.
