House of Representatives and the supreme Council of state require that the aggressor return in order to start the political process.

On Sunday, the House of Representatives and the Supreme Council of State agreed that the path of political dialogue must be preceded by the withdrawal of the aggressor and the start of the return of the displaced.

In a joint statement, the two councils affirmed their welcome to all international initiatives that support the path of dialogue, ending the state of war and starting the formation of the Political Dialogue Committee through its transparent representation.

The two councils stressed the need to implement mechanisms to monitor the ceasefire and its repeated violations under international supervision and to end threats to state facilities, the last of which affected oil facilities.

It is worth noting that the UN envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salama, called on the House and Parliament to name their dialogue committees, to participate in the Geneva Dialogue, which is being held in late January.

Pompeo hopes to reopen oil ports.
