Plane hit by a bomb in Mitiga Aiarport

The director of Mitiga International Airport, Lutfi Al-Tabib confirmed on Thursday, that one of Libyan Airlines was hit by a random shell at the airport on Wednesday evening.

Al-Tabib said in a statement to ArraedLG, the air traffic movement is proceeding normally, according to the schedule prepared, pointing out that the airport is subject to a decision made by the Aviation Authority to stop aviation from 12 pm to 6 am.

Mitiga International Airport was suspended in January for five days as a result of armed clashes that left 25 dead, and more than 100 wounded.
