The head of the Presidential Council (PC), Faiz Al-Sarraj agreed with the European Union (EU) Ambassador to Libya, Bettina Moshaidt on the need to unite European positions on Libyan political issues.

During his meeting with the Ambassador in Tripoli, Al-Sarraj stressed the importance of working for the elections on a sound constitutional base under the umbrella of the United Nations.

The head of the Council discussed with the EU ambassador, the illegal immigration file and ways to find a comprehensive solution that takes into account all dimensions of the problem, indicating what he agreed with the European foreign policy representative, Federica Mogherini to lay the foundations of partnership between Libya and the European Union.
