During a meeting with UN envoy Ghassan Salame on Thursday, the Commander of Operation Dignity, Khalifa Haftar, stressed the need to abolish Article 8 of the political agreement.
A source close to Haftar stated that Haftar demanded the rejection of all talks regarding the cancellation of #HoR decisions, including the assignment of Haftar to the post of army leadership.
The source added that during his meeting with Ghassan Salame, Khalifa Haftar stressed the need to find a real solution to end the current crisis before the 17th of December; citing the end of the political agreement and its outputs by that date.
