During a meeting with President of the Presidential council Fayez Sarraj in #Tripoli on Monday, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian confirmed the nearing return of the French embassy to the capital.
In another meeting with the President of the Supreme Council of the State Abdulrahman Asswehly, the French minister reiterated his country’s support for the political solution and renunciation of violence; stressing France’s keenness to achieve security and stability in Libya. Le Drian also announced that France pledges € 1 million to Libya’s stability fund to support the service projects supervised by the United Nations.
