#Government #Libya #News- Solidarity for Human Rights questions the seriousness of Operation Dignity’s leadership’s investigation into Al-Werfalli

The Solidarity for Human Rights organization has doubts regarding the leadership of Operation Dignity conducting the investigation of Mahmoud Al-Werfalli; citing the possibility that some of the leaders of Al Karama may have been involved in inciting the crimes committed by Al-Werfalli.
SHR noted that Khalifa Haftar and the House of Representatives did not issue any statement or action on the video recordings incriminating Al-Werfalli.

On Wednesday, SHR released a memorandum regarding the joint statement of the governments of #France, #Britain and #America in concern to the international criminal decision to arrest al-Werfalli. SHR stated that Al-Werfalli was accused of murder in the context of seven incidents involving 33 people that happened between the 3rd of June 2016 and the 17th of July 2017.

Solidarity for Human Rights called on the Libyan authorities to cooperate with the International Criminal Court in order to achieve justice by handing Al-Werfalli over to the Court as soon as possible.
