The prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Fatou Bensouda, has indicted Mahmoud Al-Werfalli with committing war crimes in #Benghazi.
Bensouda released a statement, on Tuesday, requesting that Libyan authorities arrest Al-Werfalli and submit the case to court. She also stated that the prosecutor’s office is committed to combatting perceived impunity from crimes in Libya and will not hesitate to initiate new cases under the Rome Statute if there is evidence that suggests a dangerous crime was committed.
