On Sunday, commanders of operation Al-Bunyan al-Marsous who are loyal to the UN-backed unity government (GNA), met to discuss “the final and the crucial battles” to wipe out ISIS in Sirte, according to a post on the force’s Facebook page.
On Monday, the GNA loyal forces reportedly have liberated and secured “the Hospitality Palaces in the east of The Dollar Neighbourhood in Sirte” after taking out “ISIS snipers and their vehicles.”
Clashes at Ouagadougou Conference Hall and Ibn Al-Nafees Hospital continue as GNA loyal forces progress to “the final and crucial battle” to take back control over Sirte from ISIS.
